Gráfica Libre is a series of community engagements in the form of artist led workshops and a public art exhibition that will be opening on August 31, 2023 at the Region One Art Gallery in El Paso, Texas. The exhibition will showcase local artists alongside international artists with an emphasis on artistic responses to social and political issues specific to the El Paso/Juarez border region. The exhibit will run until September 23, 2023.
The purpose of the project more generally is to popularize the use of art as a tool to communicate ideas of solidarity, community, culture, and resistance.
