Parwana Amiri is a teenager from Afghanistan whose family fled Iran in order to find safety, jobs, and an education for their children. She is currently in the Ritsona refugee camp on the mainland of Greece, awaiting EU confirmation of her asylum application. Her book “The Olive Tree and the Old Woman” is available now through Publication Studio.
