Negar Masroori

Negar is a women’s rights activist and a feminist writer who regards writing as a powerful act of resistance that connects and empowers marginalized groups through their mutual experiences and shared stories. Although she cannot return to her country, Iran, due to the risk of prosecution by the Islamic Republic regime for her feminist activities, she continues to share the unseen struggles and unheard stories of women living in gender apartheid through her works—stories, essays, articles, and her role as an editorial member of an online Iranian feminist magazine.
