Mar Mordente is a multimedia artist rooted between Rio de Janeiro (BR), Oaxaca (MX), and Chão do Rio (PT). Their work unfolds at the intersections of performance, body arts, popular education, and collective healing practices. Their practice moves through eco-political territories, engaging with ancestral medicines, Indigenous community feminisms, transfeminisms, and counter-colonial artistic-political movements.
They develop a continuous investigation into dreams as ancestral and futuristic technology, weaving with collective rituals, embodied pedagogies, and trance practices as pathways for listening, repair, and regeneration.
