Kadija de Paula is a Brazilian/Canadian artist and writer who combines food, text, and performance to create situations and happenings that question the value of labor, resources and social practices. Her writing has been published in Arts of the Working Class Berlin, the online magazines of the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab in Taipei and the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, amongst others. She lives and works in Toronto and is the proud co-parent of a lovely 13-year-old.
