Journalist and activist Christian Peverieri writes about his experience of community-embeddedness at Free Home University with Casa delle Agriculture.
Christian Peverieri is a professional educator born in Mestre, Mexico in 1979. For twenty years he has been an activist of the Rivolta Social Center in Marghera and of the Ya Basta! Êdî bese! with whom he took part in organizing numerous caravans and bottom-up cooperation projects with Indigenous communities and Zapatista rebels, such as “El Estadio del Bae” and “Agua Para todos.”
Through the “fault” of Gabriel García Marquez’s books, from an early age he became passionate about the Latin American continent. This passion led him to visit the countries of the area several times, in particular Mexico and Bolivia.
He is also a freelance journalist and currently collaborates with the Global Project movement information portal, for which he mainly contributes to the “Worlds” section, dealing with Latin America.
