Agapi is a Greek architect, and co-founder and project coordinator of Frame Colectivo in Lisbon, PT. She graduated from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany (2007), where she integrated research groups on collective building in Mexico, Brazil, Greece, and the U.S.A. Agapi started her practice in Berlin with urban development and planning of middle scale cities, urban infrastructure, and rehabilitation of public spaces. In 2013, she moved to Portugal, where she implements collaborative, community-driven building workshops, art installations, and urban research projects. She is currently developing her work on the non-neutrality of the urban in terms of formality, politics, and mobility.
Her projects with Frame Colectivo have been supported by the Ministry of Culture, DgArtes, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Goethe Institut, DesignScapes, and others. She collaborates with public and private cultural institutions, theater companies, municipalities, libraries, festivals, and residents associations. She is a frequent participant and workshop facilitator in universities and conferences.
